    I used an 1156 bulb in a plastic housing BO light and after some use the bulb ran hot enough to start melting the plastic.......... (It WAS nice and bright) So if you have a plastic lens set up, Be careful of heat from a replacement bulb.

    I have a 10,000 pound HF winch that I would like to mount to a steel frame that could pin to the tow hook brackets, So the winch could be moved from front to back. Has anyone fooled with making such a bracket so I am not re-inventing the wheel here?

    That's one of the GREAT features of having old military trucks! NO 600 grit sand paper needed! And a few minor flaws in a paint job just make it look more original!

    Finally got the ox/acy torch set up all installed in M1031 #1, Used one of those Victor knock off torch sets from Ebay for 99 bucks, Mounted the tanks in the right side of the truck.     MWMULE, That bike rack is great! When you get a chance could you post a photo or two of how you attached the steel tube to the frame/bumper/shackle lift points?

    Made up some starter jumper cables to plug directly in to the grille outlet, And rewired that outlet for 12 volts so I can jump start the rest of my vehicles that are 12 volt.
