I have been through the DMV in Minnesota. Mine was titled as Farm truck for the FPU and Farm trailer for the trailer. I have a farm and dont intend on driving beyond the restricted 150 mile radius.

Had mine out for a Military Appreciation event in St Francis, MN this past weekend. On way back from event, took it to a game refuge and drove trails for an hour. Put about 70 miles on here with zero issue. Fuel consumption was not bad either-gauge didn't move a whole lot. I am gentle on...
My SF arrives last Friday via UPS. Nobody home to recv it so had to pick it up at the local post office. If anybody is has not seen theirs from the first JAX batch-this may be why.
I hit the local DMV last Sat and 20 minutes later walked out with FARM (Minnesota) plates. To secure the plates to...
I have checked the orientation of my FPU to trailer drive shaft. Found there are no match marks on mine. Given the low miles and painted threads on this truck indicates it may have never been apart.
The two pictures show the relationship of the trailer front U-joint yoke and the FPU CARDAN...
With mine now licensed and insured, I was able to take it out on the highway yesterday. Drove a round trip of about 12 miles and report the following:
To reduce strain on FPU suspension, initiate turn when in motion. Manage steering wheel in a fluid motion and try not to adjust. The optics of...
Mine has the clunk on low speed. I have looked closely at the set up and noticed that the springs can move around in there perches. Note the the rear axel on the FPU does not steer. When you turn sharp, lots of force is put on this axel. To reduce the clunk I start out by driving forward then...
I saw the same thing and decided to confirm this with gl. It's correct. I was told my sf97 was mailed yesterday. With any luck I will be dealing with the local DMV. They have been good so far but am concerned about t
He gvw being so high. Will try to register as farm truck.

Thanks to Ron and Wreckerman and Andy1234 for all the help in getting my MK48 home to Minnesota. Complicated recovery and logistics unlike that of a Duece or even a 5-ton. Andy arranged the truck and trailer-he gets the credit. It was nice, low and easy to back the truck from trailer.
Truck was...
My truck has finally arrived here in the great northern woods. She fired right up and was very easy to back off the truck. Will take a little getting used to-drives different than anything I have ever driven.
My truck shows 2,200 miles and appears those are actual. There are no leaks...
Perhaps the actual governor on these trucks will be the driver. Given they are articulated, 57 MPH may be actual white knuckle territory. Maybe thats not so fast when there are no obstacles around you, but driving in traffic with a Honda to the right and a Fiat to the left....

Hey-didnt build it-just bought it. I will send pictures when able. One thing for certain-when my wife finds out, its going to be bad-oh man o man. She has red hair and Irish blood. I am really hosed but its worth it. Her storm will blow over znd I will have a dragon wagon.

I won a complete unit-power unit and trailer. Perhaps those that paid more for power units did not notice that is was for a single item. The singles where mixed in with complete units. Next up is planning to get it to Minnesota.
