You know the 545 is not equipped with overdrive, right? It's a decent pairing if you have acceptable differential gears or big tires like Hank does. Otherwise, you'll lose a lot of highway speed.
If I had been able to paint the whole thing, the details would have been a lot better. I'm sorry about the overspray on your brake lines and I'm sure some other things that you didn't want painted. You should be able to remove it from the brake lines with WD-40 on a rag.

Why is that? I know they are cool, but bound to be electrical nightmares, just like the LMTV series. It seems to me that the last half decent surplus trucks we will ever see are the 939 series. That is just the wind of change at work. When it gets to where all the military trucks have armor, our...

Looking good man. Hope the bed liner turned out ok. I wasn't really happy with how it was laying down when I was shooting it. Seemed like I got a bad batch or something but it certainly didn't come out the way the floor in my cab did. The floor in yours looks great though.
And now that mine is...
Degrease the whole thing, then sand the areas that need it, wirewheel areas that call for it, and use aircraft stripper where the paint is real thick, then prime the whole thing and spray color.
You want to drive my deuce? Why didn't you just ask?rofl
By the way Hank, I'm leaving for the Texas rally Friday, so you can take your time getting here Thursday.
