    Frame is dropped 18'' from above axle to under the cab. The overall length is just under 14'.. Still a big truck, kinda like a T-Bucket on steroids!

    Body was channeled 4'' to fit over the frame. Also had to make whole new firewall, floor and trans-tunnel.

    Yo Rick. No I didn't get them from westhampton area. Had the truck for some time now. But just recently converted it. Pembertons rite down the road. I'm not aware of any shows or cruse nites around this time of year. But if I take it anyware I'll let u know. Well take it for a ride.

    You can't see but I'm drooling! You have all the pieces you need rite there. I love the 749series just as much as anyone. But...And This is just my experience, I can honestly say. Building a whole new car from scratch was 100 times easier than restoring and trying to keep my stock M135...

    Thanks again. I used WW2 semi-gloss from gillespie coatings. Looks good but not as durable as I'd like, I should have added a hardner when I sprayed it. I understand what your saying about the springs. But I believe they are correct. If they were reversed the long main spring would be on top...

    Thanks for all the kind words guys. I was realy expecting to get my a** handed to me by the purist. I'll get out this weekend and get some video of it. I'd love to get it to Aberdeen or some other MV shows. My only concern would be outrunning the lynch mob:shock:.

    Front axle is a suicide setup. I used the factory deuce leafs, cut them in half to make them 1/4 elliptical and lower control arm combo. For the uppers I used the factory dog bones just had to cut and lengthen them.

    Yes, just 2wd. My original intent was to make it 4wd. Had it all worked out. Just using the factory pillow block, drive shaft thru the grill, radiator behind the cab. But i'd have to put the truck on air bags to get the look i wanted and pump it up to make it a useful 4x4. that woulda put me way...
