Gimp, do you have any specs on the motor? That might be the limiting factor on how much bowl it could spin.

Maybe we could have minimum settling time, and a basic minimum filtering requirement. I run all my oil through a 100 micron screen and a magnet before I let it sit. Another "rule" that might be good is that the group is not liable for any Kaboom's that may occur.

Fittings would probably fairly easy, as you can always make adapters to fit whatever set up you already have, and for not much money.

What's the smallest camlock fitting they make? I don't think the lines would have to be that big, probably no bigger that 1/2-3/4" or so, so there's probably a bunch of different ways to go. I haven't gotten that far yet.

I was thinking of something just mounted on a stand or a 3'x3' piece of plywood that could be clamped to a workbench. Most of the units I'm thinking of would be less than 100 lbs, and they could easily fit in the trunk of a car.
