    I seem to recall someone saying 650ish recently for the stock filter. Also, make sure there are no issues with the intake cap on the top of the stack. If it has been painted a bunch of times the mesh screen might be clogged up with paint.

    Couldn't you test it in some kind of water tank? That way if something blows when it is submerged the water would contain it a bit.
