Not to take this thread too far off topic, the numbers I have seen on other Canadian SMP vehicles were stamped in 1/2" numbers, Year and number eg 56- 23456. It could be that larger stamps were used for your deuce. It would be interesting to confirm where these numbers are on the early CDN...
