    The ole G80 gov bomb strikes again.. I think Yukon or Detroit makes a carrier that operates the same as a G80, but strengthened to be durable

    Your M1009 should have the infamous G80 "gov bomb" locker in the rear. It should NOT make any noise. The G80 does not operate like a full time Detroit locker. It only locks both axles when more throttle is applied. Otherwise it operates like an open diff.
