    Actually, there have been a few Steyr imported into the US. I drove in a Steyr 12M18 from Oregon once. I liked the stick shift transmission. In many ways I liked it more than a M1078, but they are like $30k in surplus condition. I looked into it and it's basically impossible to register them...

    Congrats on your new truck! I actually just pulled the driver alarm switch off my truck tonight. I'll be removing the bed shortly, so I likely don't need the cable. Let me take a look at how it connects in to the cab. Michael
