M146 conversion - Spacial Transformations style

I touched on that in post #19. I'm not a big fan of bathrooms taking up space in live-in rigs. I've spent over 30 years living in rigs and never had what most would call a "bathroom". Sometimes a small cabinet w/ a slide out portable toilet, or a shower curtain ring mounted to the outside that...

M146 conversion - Spacial Transformations style

Rayzer - Went through the TM again and you're right about the ac connector. I've been looking at the one off the She Beast (M109) and thinking it was the same. A little ass-uME-ing on my part. They're NOT the same, close, but not. Don't know why I thought the connectors on the shop vans were the...

But if I recall you redid all the electrics. I kept everything inside intact and was just hopping to change the input. I know the inside is 2 wire w/o ground. I was thinking the same thing, ground rod. Might have to do some searching.

 No really I'm interested, being that I have 4 of them around me right now and I need to power them. Most from shore power, mine I'll do diff when that one comes around.

I'm hoping to put that inside the housing that I can't get the other part out of :)

Rayzer - I think that you're talking about the plug. I'm talking about the part that's mounted to the trailer.

M146 conversion - Spacial Transformations style

Having some problems w/ the ac input. The piece on the front of the trailer that the genny plugs into. The one on this trailer had been broken before we got it. I have another one that I pulled off the She Beast. I'm wanting to mod the receptacle inside it w/ something more civy. Prob is that I...

M146 conversion - Spacial Transformations style

Being that this one is basically just one of the “pods” that make up our compound, and not planned for the road (though I will keep it on wheels and ready just in case) I'm not going to do a full camper/live-in build. For this one there will be no bathroom, we have those facilities available on...

Starting to get the kitchen framed up.

M146 conversion - Spacial Transformations style

Got the 1/4 round moldings oiled and up, and started mounting the electrical channels back up under the molding. Light fixtures getting installed. Still have one of the 4 giving me problems. Last one to go up needs the hole in the ply mod'd so that the screws would line up w/ threaded...

M146 conversion - Spacial Transformations style

Quickfarms - that was the order I thought I'd be doing mine as well ;) While I have you here, do you have any idea where to get door handles for the shelters? I'm needing one. And how come we never see your builds, or am I just missing them?

M146 conversion - Spacial Transformations style

Getting Tarted up I rewired for the dome lights and it got painted. Next was to tape the bags of insulation back in place and to cut and oil some birch ply for the ceiling. Here we ran into some probs (I'm not going to talk about all the other “usual” problems we'd already had ;) ) The...

M146 conversion - Spacial Transformations style

I'm suppose to be working on my M796+Shelter Live-in, but I'm not! This 146 has been taking my time, so I thought I should prob post up some pictures of it. First off I needed a deck for it (we don't have enough ladders and they're a pain when your working in it) So I designed this as a...
