Do you remember what size stem they had? There's either different versions of military shocks, or Monroe has changed the stem size on 34787. My original shocks had a 3/8" fine thread stem. Monroe lists the 34787 as having a 1/2" course thread stem. I researched several different shocks a month... -

66605 has a 1/2" stem. I just put them on my deuce and they're a direct replacement. Got them from Amazon.
