Been a while since I posted here. Glad to see the crew is still kicking. Just got my first HMMH delivered last night. Way cooler than I even imagined! Going to give it a tune up and start fixing stuff. Sheared pin on a crane cylinder, seat back cover eaten by mice, speedometer not working...
I was still bidding when my phone died. EI has them for $525. There were 7 brand new units. I needed at least one. Figured as long as I had less than $1000 total in the deal after shipping, I would be ok. Not particularly upset that I didn't get them though. The deal was a lot more attractive...
My impression was that the seller had zero experience selling on eBay and likely had a younger family member create the listing. I emailed him multiple times and couldn't even get a response. Judging by the pics, it's obviously a very successful farming operation, so I doubt they needed to sell...
The seller ended the Ebay auction prior to the scheduled close. Pretty sure he did a private sale with someone "off eBay". I suspect it won't be long before we see some pics on here...
I asked this question previously, in a slightly different way. But does anyone know exactly what "Overhauled at RRAD" means vs "Recapped at RRAD". I ran across this article tonight...
Thanks General. I actually had not read the rules until just now, and I didn't realize that talking about auctions was a no-no. I edited my most recent post and the pics, but I can't figure out (on my phone) how to erase the original pics.
What SEE auctions recently closed without any
bids?
Thanks FLUFARM! I knew the experts would help school this novice. Didn't I see someone add a top mount AC? That would help here in Mississippi. I think the guy had removed all the big implements and maybe the FOPS, put the spare on the roof, and added, among other things, a hydraulic welder...
Here is a SEE up in Alaska that seem to have a few unique characteristics, such as a 24" excavator bucket by Intergy Inc instead of CASE. There also is something that I don't recognize on the inside back wall of the cab, between the seats. And it's the only truck that I've seen with the rear...
Thank you to Simp5782 for dropping off some tires today! He told me about recently moving a SEE truck out of Texarkana that had more attachments than he had ever seen. Total shipping weight was 22,000 pounds. He mentioned a fork attachment for the bucket, a grapple attachment, and even the...
Any one ever seen this tag on a SEE truck? Can't remember which of the 6 wrecks in Pineville had it. Maybe a loader manufacturer other than Schmidt? https://swifoundation.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/Palm-Industries-FINAL.pdf
I SEE a Pull-A-Part yard! They will probably go to some local scrap guy for $25 apiece!!! I'm going to keep an eye on them. I might also call the facility and see if we can get the contact info for whoever does but them.
