    That becomes a hard battle at the end this month. ;) :jumpin: O.K. we have to do some service to the 1942 Harley. New spark plugs, and thinner Engine oil. It´s near freesing point today.:D BTW there is already a nice CUCV for the April calendar sheet.:love:

    Our contestant 1942 WL Harley Davidson 45" runs with the original Linkert Carb. We named it evaporator tube. It´s a simple thing... and it works.

    We switched to pointles ignition. Due to not available in earlyer days we build the distributor head and cover ourselve. Fits a common dyna tec ignition.

    Because the former owner of our 1942 Flathead touch the ground due to brake anchor bolt faillure he changed to a disc brake at the front end. Doesn´t matter, we saved the OEM parts. ;)

    Found a side car in the shelf. Perhaps a russian one. The previous owner of our 1942 Harley had the wish (I remember) that we fix it to the Flathead Harley. But this did not happen.:shrugs: Perhaps sometime.;)
