    WITH ALL DUE RESPECT to the hard core ones that have a hard time thinking outside the box... as to the HMMWV design. IMO and I be no expert at anything... BUT pretty DAMM GOOD at figuring out, reading the TM's and follow along with the prints... IMO, HMMWV was thrown together to meet the need...
