I guess that answers the question about if you were in limp mode, you might want to step back and do a thorough inspection as honestly you should have put eyes on that before you went for a drive.
Look at the picture in post #20 and match it to the schematic in post 22, you probably cannot do it wrong as you have 2 male and 2 female connectors and it looks like it really does not matter what polarity the coil and contacts are connected.
Probably the breaker also
It should be quite obvious if it is shifting or not, when in limp mode it would seem to bog a little on takeoff (starting in second instead of 1st) and then it does not shift, thing makes too much noise not to notice when it shifts.
That is the fan kicking in towards the end of the video if that is what you are talking about, it does also seem to be running quite a few RPMs for 50MPH.
Is it shifting or are you running along in 2nd gear?
