    Funky... it's either fuel or compression related. I would start with the easiest first and move to the hardest. R&R injectors. Remove them have them pop tested and the spray looked at.     When you say idling, do you mean 1800rpm or with the throttle all the way relaxed?

    Did you follow the directions on valve adjustment where you must align the "A" and "B" marks on the generator side flywheel in the sight hole?
