    Just purchased my 2nd MV...M38A1

    Make sure the oil level is correct, too much can cause the oil burning. Don't forget the head bolt inside the intake manifold!

    Wow that is an incredible find. Even has the slave receptacle. You rarely see those installed. As far as the straw, I would put the shop vac hose on the intake hole and crank the motor over by hand, with the spark plugs removed. Maybe the straw will suck out.
