I'm quite happy with my clean truck lol.
But there's no doubt that 18yo motorpool kids work on these... and I do realize a clean and repair/replace is the best preventative option.
I guess you'd have to see the truck. I've stripped the cab down completely inside for one thing and there is/was minimal wear on any areas where you would expect to see it. No accumulation of dirt etc under the instrument panel or under the fuse box. Everything in the engine area looks typical...

When swapping the front diff, why do we not just remove the upper and lower pivots. #18 & 24. This would leave the whole hub gear assembly intact. Or am I missing something?
