Condensation and milkshake in my trucks valve cover

I agree with patracy, you can spend way too much valuable time worrying about what it's going to take to fix a problem like this because of all the unknowns and all the work that it will take to figure it out and then the possibility of having to do the engine replacement anyway. Pull the engine...

Condensation and milkshake in my trucks valve cover

There's two types of deuce owners, the ones that have replaced an engine, and the ones that will. I wouldn't feel too bad.

I would definitely pull them both instead of just one. All the work is getting to that point.

Condensation and milkshake in my trucks valve cover

How much pressure should be applied for this leak down test?
  13. RAYZER

Condensation and milkshake in my trucks valve cover

You can make an adapter out of a gutted injector.
  14. RAYZER

Condensation and milkshake in my trucks valve cover

You could fill your radiator and pressurize the coolant system, then pull the injectors, pull the fuel shutoff and hit the starter and see if any water comes out of the combustion chambers. If you determine it's not the oil cooler then the heads may have to come off to track down the leak.

Condensation and milkshake in my trucks valve cover

These are not wet liners so it's not that. I think it could be: cracked head (water jacket), or a bad head gasket job. But if the previous owner did the head gaskets because they were having the same problem, then I would be thinking cracked head. If it was a bad oil cooler you would probably...

So this changes everything, now it's down to figuring out where all the coolant is coming from. No oil in the coolant?
