    It's also interesting that the TM shows the flywheel and ring gear as 2 separate parts. So maybe there is a totally different ONAN PN for the complete assembly not shown in the TM?? I also see that GM lists the "Flywheel" as being 12" x 12" x 6" and 2 pounds?? It's more like 60lbs. So maybe...

    A new flywheel isn't gonna be cheap unless you can find someone parting out a machine.     Unfortunately you have to tear down the entire generator to get in there. It's not the greatest of designs. You are usually better off just removing the radiator support and pulling the motor/gen out as a unit then tear the generator head apart to get to those bolts.
