I wish I had the ability to capture similar data on mine since it has two 12V alts. I can say this, it works. I am considering using an ambulance setup along with the A/C stuff on another civy project. It is that dependable.
Joe, revisit post #11. It's even easier than rewiring like a standard CUCV. The ambulance ChevyC60 referred to is now mine. He installed 1 wire alts just like Mark did but added a second alt and just wired the lower alternator to the rear battery. It's brutally simple and works flawlessly.
I have a few questions here. Mark, on yours the lower alt is installed as factory. The upper is a single wire unit. Using the single wire unit makes that a completely stand alone unit, is that correct? Is the idiot light completely out of the equasion now? Roy, on yours with 2 stand alone...
