    Presenting my new M1010

Yes Jeff, that is correct. It was all Roy's doing and seemed overly simple to me but it works wonderfully. With these self exciting 1 wire alternators, I can't see any way for the system to fail short of an alternator failure.

The one who got the back would claim victory! Thanks Pete. I picked up a jump seat from the boneyard. It was out of a Dodge but it's just a bit too wide. Was only $13. Still shopping for another.

    Presenting my new M1010

After getting to drive this to the store a few times I must say, the bucket seats in these trucks are much more comfy than bench seat in my M1008. Now I have to come up with a jump seat to install between them. 2 kids, don't want to hear one cry when I leave without him.

    Presenting my new M1010

It just gets better. Tightened up PS and A/C belts and did a few other things. Plugged in the A/C compressor and climbed in the back and lit up the A/C. I just came in from a most pleasant nap sleeping in the A/C. It's near 80 today and much colder than that in the back of the 1010. Oh...

    Presenting my new M1010

Well, after a deal that has been in the works for the better part of a year, my new M1010 is home and what a peach she is. I worked out a deal with ChevyC60 to trade my M108 crane for this ambulance. Roy has been working on it for weeks to get it ready to make the trip from North to South...
