    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

I too, am curious about the demise of the M108 and the pipeline headache rack behind the van. Truck looks great Jon.

    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

I'm sure George is looking down giving a huge thumbs up to you guys on an excellent job with the oilfield truck.

    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

Outstanding work guys. My favorite deuce of all time and consequently, the one with the most lights from the factory.

    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

Super cool Jon. Hope you guys keep up the great work. One of the coolest deuces ever.

    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

This jewel came out of Roosevelt Roads PR and belonged to NMCB74. It was complete but rusted beyond recognition is certain areas. It sacrificed it's life so other Oilfield trucks could live. Some parts went to Keith Boda, others to Steelsoldiers dad who has an M756A2 and the bed is on a...

    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

True with 5 tons. The M756A2 with lockers were supposed to be Seabees trucks of which I've had 2. Not sure what branch Keith Boda's truck was but it reportedly has them.

    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

It was customarily thought that all pipeline trucks had Detroit Lockers. They are not in any TMs and I am 0-2 on it too. Both of mine were sans lockers.

    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

    Happy Birthday Jon.

What are your plans for wood? Cranetruck has made a few sets of boards for pipeline beds using yellow locust. Stuff is hard on nails and saws but wears like iron.

    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

It's just like a 5 ton wrecker chain, only longer. That is one heavy sucker to wield around.

    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

Coming together Jon. The block looks factory. My truck had 2 sets of side pocket adapters. Thought Keith ended up with both sets, maybe not.

    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

I need to check what's left of my TMs. One of the -10 updates had an entire 756 section that another update doesn't have. I also have some other M756A2 literature somewhere I need to find.

You have some sheave blocks. I know you have the rear anchor for the sheave block, is the center one there or do the get switched? Been a while.

I trust that he had everything you needed to copy?

    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

FWIW, there are 2 trucks that I know of out there with Hiabs and pipeline beds. Both were built by members here. Cranetruck built one and BFR built the other.

    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

I know that my truck had 2 sets of sidepocket adapters. BII was only one pair so he may have extras. I hope my lead pans out for you. I have pics of the pile of goods he bought but its stuck in a broken computer.

    The VTCS m756a2 Pipeline Truck

There is a guy in the MD area by the name of Keith Boda. He bought all my pipeline stuff off my Puerto Rico rust relic. I know that it included a few extras items. You will have to do the legwork to find him. Pics of some of the stuff sold are here...

    One of my favorites.
