    When I pulled the engine out of my M108, I ran a chain between 2 slash pines and hung a chain hoist from there. The gap between the trees narrowed about 2 feet before the engine started to rise.

    Wayne Harris and myself swapped SECM bodies on a Dodge M887 with 4x4s, blocks and a single bumper jack. I think I shed a gallon of sweat that hot summer south GA day but it worked.
