    Also, the pump in the tank is referred to as the "lift pump" because that's all it basically does. It lifts the fuel from the tank and feeds it at low pressure so that the injector pump (IP) can pressurize it to the cylinders in firing order. If the hose from the lift pump has a crack or split...
