Ok I see what they did, they shifted the lower cab latch to the mid structure and added that arch support to distribute the load across the back if the standard cab… that would be a bit of work to convert to a air suspension cab…
Yea, thats a different shock tower. And unless you add half a ton+ of armored cab mass for that extra spring to work with, I am going to guess that the ride will be a little harsh…

If I recall my measurements correctly, the shocks in the stock system only allow about 1.75” of total travel, and deflating only lowers about 1” from the set ride height... It isn’t much travel, and your pass-thru should be able to accommodate...
And a shock, yes you could as long as you can figure out the weight right and if the cab weight stays fairly constant. Not sure how shifting a 200# pax in and out of the center seat would effect it though...
The problem isnt the bag, its the integrated shock absorber/restraint system inside the bag that they chose for the LMTV. There are lots of bags suitable for the weight, but It cant be replaced by just a bag.
