Did the GP resistor bypass today. Started the truck yesterday and during the glow plug cycle a bunch of smoke came out from under the hood:shock: Yep fried resistor.
Took the 09 down to Saratoga Wyoming today. It's about an 80 mile round trip with half of it on I-80. Truck ran great!:driver:I know it's not real far but next month I'm planning on driving it to Casper which is about a 260 mile round trip. Baby steps
Removed the instrument cluster, replaced all the bulbs. Installed a new speedometer cable. Got the blackout lights/service lights working. Cleaned the fusebox and replaced all the fuses and changed the oil and filter. It's been a busy day!:shock:
