Ferrets are a piece of cake to work on compared to a Saracen. They are also MUCH more reliable and easier to get parts for. For the longest time, you couldn't hardly give a Saracen away, they had a MUCH deserved bad reputation. There is a whole new generation of MV'ers that will have to learn...
I don't think you could give me a Saracen. Weak transmission, trouble prone dual hyd. system, 160 hp engine (it's an 8 cylinder Rolls but it's underpowered for the weight of the vehicle) full time 6 wheel drive, a VERY low effective top speed and drum brakes that are marginal.
