I am curious as well.

I am having trouble with air leaking and it appears that it is the fan actuator/shutter valve. I took mine apart and cleaned it. When I was trying to disassemble it I was not sure how it all came apart, so I loosened the thermal probe nut (jam nut?) and then realized a good smack on the bench...
