Unfortunately the m939a2 ctis is 24 volt and the lmtv/mrap trucks are 12 volt. They are not interchangeable. You might be able to power the m939a2 ecu separately on a lmtv and program it that way.

I was speaking with one of the mil mechanics I know. She said she was able to access the ctis controller thru the main diag port on lmtv A1 with the dana software on the msd. It may only be on the c7 trucks with data bus though.

I dont have any right now. Post in the classifieds. Alot of people end up removing the system so the parts are available.

Hard fault. If 5 lights when you start the truck and no flashing at all then its a controller, valve body or harness. Easiest way to troubleshoot is finding a known good controller and swapping.

That controller part numbe comes back to BAE cat mrap and fmtv. It should work fine in the lmtv trucks. Did you try and turn your headlights on? Some of the m939 controllers have blackout mode with the lights off.

Check the connections at the pneumatic valve in the passenger kick. You may have to clean them up with an eraser.

I have another thread going it has the ctis 90psi wrecker upgrade info and part numbers of the newest ecu. The newest model should have interface capability similiar to the lmtv.

The MSD V3 diagnostic kit has the y cable to access the lmtv ctis. Not sure if it works on the m939a2 version though.

So the diagnostic interface cable was part of an upgrade package that included a new controller. Maybe you need one of the later controller versions to allow for interface and diagnostics.

You can manually supply air to the cab valve body output line with a compressor with the truck off.

The newer style controller lights only come on with the light switch.

The port is only available with the Y cable. The air manifold is one in one out. All wheels are just branched off one main feed.

The unit is designed to be reprogrammed. The software is a free download from Dana. The Y cable was only available as an upgrade kit that came with a new ctis control and some other parts. The newest lmtv diagnostic kit has a Y cable for the lmtv ctis which should work to reprogram the m939a2...
