    I looked in the little booklet that comes with the chain. It didnt show it. Maybe its a keeper for storage when off the tire.

    Small cable and clip. Acts as an extra safety on the tire chains lock on mechanism.

    The pewag ones work fine on lmtvs. I have 4 left but none of the little keepers that come in a little plastic bag.

    If they are for the 395s same as lmtv they fit fine. And they are supposed to fit 1400s also.
