Changed the headlight switch and changed a melting fuse in a aditional wire that had been added by the previous owner.
The wire is in to bypass the key. I'll restore it after it passes the anual inspection.
Thanks for the tips. I'm going to search for loose parts and check the grounds with the meter next weekend.
I'll update this thread next weekend. Hopefully with good results!
My m1008 has problems whit the blinkers in combintion with the regular lights.
When the lights are on, and the blinkers are used all the lights are flashing. Verry lightely but they are flashing.
I cleaned the 2 grounds above the headlights. Also the ground on top of the frame at the battery...
I replaced the rear brakelines and hose and while doing that I found out the proportion valve is broken.
I have been searching for a part nr and could not find it.
Is there a replacement part for the original?
For now I have connected the line directly to the hose.
Also started to testfit a turbo setup which I bought from SS. Only thing I saw, it has no wastegate. The turbos I have owned in the past all had an wastegate so I could change the pressure.
Should I add an external wastegate to this setup? And how and where should I put it? If someone has...
I have recently replaced the seized engine of my m1008 by an used one. And when its cold it smokes a bit....
I only do not understand why it smokes that bad out of 1 of the 2 exhaust and the other side is almost clean.
Does anybody have a clue where to search for or what to adjust?
