Ah, I just noticed that those are *not* XLMs.
Those are ZXLs and a far better tire.
Toss the spare on for now, but make certain it is also a ZXL (easy way to tell is it simply won't say XML in thick print on the sidewall).

Yes, XMLs are prone to blowouts and under NO circumstances should that cracked tire be on the road much less at anything even remotely near highway speed. The XMLs are dangerous enough...
I'm on my second LMTV with the Goodyears. On both trucks I did the 75 psi mod and tire wear slowed noticeably. On the M1078 it was more profound on the front, but on my M1079 they are all wearing evenly after 5000 miles.
