    Nice job. Does the handle on the hood fit the mounting holes for the hood catch? If so, where did you get the handle?

    For me it was ease of installation and simple axle alignment. I also like the looks of the install and equipment consistency.

    I wanted the largest portion of the remaining bed to have the strongest integrity. I also left me with the fewest modifications required for remounting the bed, etc.

    I shortened mine at the rear end of the bed by cutting out 36" on the bed (and Frame) and welding back together. I used a cutting wheel and sawsall with a Lazer heavy duty blade. It went much smoother that I expected. Make sure you are careful cutting around the frame and support sections. I...

    I shortened the frame and bed by 36" and added 395's on Hemit wheels. Really pleased with the result.
