Well I didn't work on the CUCV today, but I was working on another car and took this picture. What a difference!

It's death wobble. Get new kingpin springs and bushings. It's an easy job too. 99% of the time the springs are just too worn to keep enough pressure on the bushing. With big tires an added I/8" thick washer and new spring will do the trick.

Interesting. Yeah I've never had any problems with them in so cal. I've had optima in my M1028 for a about a year and a half now.

Finished the dual Optima battery mount and cleaned up all the battery related wiring. Also fixed another exhaust rattle, and re-tightened trans crossmember bolts for 5th or so time, and used lock tight this time to keep em tight.
