What temperatures are you guys seeing on your 1545s? Mine is still 15w40 and even after an hours drive with outside temps at 50 I'm only seeing 135 or so degrees on the gauge and verified with an infrared temp gun. I can heat it up to 180 or so if I spend some time climbing hills or driving...

No doubt ATF would be my choice. It"s changing from one to the other that is worrisome.

9k showing on the odo and it still works fine. 15w40 MO looks clean. Any thoughts on what brand of 15w40 would be a good choice when I do the fluid and filter(s) changes on the trans. 15w40 specs/additive packages have changed a lot over the past 20 years or so. Very hesitant to swap to ATF...
