I am reminded of an OLD QUOTE from the Book: Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. It says: Thou Shalt Not Steal. Oh, and the short title of the book is The B.I.B.L.E.
Al,
SS thread subscriptions "never die", they resurface randomly and I sometimes have to go back and refresh my memory as to what we were following and where we left off.
Hope your sickness and other distractions are all "on the mend". Wishing you well.
Thanks for the genset update. I'm...
Al / Sir:
Thank YOU for the level of integrity that you have brought to our expectations of the good folks at GL.
As for "Jim Murphy", no, I don't yet know him. However, since I work for a funeral home (I prearrange funerals) and attend MANY services, I'm sure that I have either already or...
Congrats !
BTW: We are ALL "Distant Relatives" once you trace our roots back to NOAH, and again to Adam & Eve. We are also all Brothers (and Sisters) through our kindred spirit here.
There's just something about the emphasis of this message that should somehow apply here.....
Maybe edit to "Thou shalt not steal...Deadly Force...." :deadhorse:
To chime in on this point -
STATISTICS speak LOUDLY... If base/post theft numbers go UP, and it's all in one area of the base, it WILL get some ATTENTION.
Beware, however, that if they determine that the problem is CIVILIAN VISITORS, then some genius might decide to further restrict access...
You raise an interesting point.
Has anyone who experience THEFT reported it to the Provost Marshal's Office? Base or Post Security? etc.
If GL cannot police themselves, maybe an "unbiased Agency" needs to be brought into the loop.
Has anyone ever had such a trailer or genset Shrink-Wrapped after the auction closed?
I realize it would require an additional visit to the site, but it would add a tinge of "security".
