    1952 M135 W/Winch

My brother came to visit and welded my truck last week. We added some gussets for increased strength. Changed oil lines on the oil filter housing while doing an oil and filter change. Happened to find this head bolt tool on eBay in preparation for checking valves, etc. I'm still pulling...

    1952 M135 W/Winch

I failed to take pics of the G506 and CCKWs. There was a total of four or five trucks and they were very rough. It would take all of them and you still wouldn't be able to make a complete truck. Unfortunately a person would about have to get them for free to make it worth the effort and cost of...

    1952 M135 W/Winch

Two years later, another road trip and another update. 1944mb and I drove up to meet m1010plowboy in Canada and bought some parts from him that I needed for my M135. Also got some G749 engine stands to use for the engines in my parts trucks. After many years of talking with plowboy through PM...

    1952 M135 W/Winch

The garage dimensions are 25ft wide, 35 feet deep and the ceiling is 10.5 feet tall. The garage doors are each 10 wide and 9.5 tall. I'm not certain on the price of the doors since it was lumped in with the total cost of the garage. They are insulated since I am climate controlling. Lumber...

    1952 M135 W/Winch

It's been a while since an update. Not a lot of progress on the M135, but I got tired of fighting weather and not having a good place to work on it. I decided to fix that and build a proper place to work on things. The garage/shop is built and I had it made big enough to get the M135's in. I'm...

    1952 M135 W/Winch

I have halted on all truck work until warmer weather returns. Christmas came early this year though. 1944MB and m1010plowboy worked together to find and deliver the parts I needed. A big "Thank You!" to both of you.

I did get new batteries a couple weeks ago and started the truck last weekend after almost 2 years of it sitting there. It started right up and ran great. I expected a little bit of a fight after sitting so long but there was none. The M923 windshield seals work great. Get them into place and...

I got the decals in from Delta Team Decals and finished my instrument cluster. I am very happy with it. If any of you need the Low/High Range decals or stencils, ask Dave for the M135 Dash Markings.

    1952 M135 W/Winch

I emailed the dash marking pictures from Plowboy to Dave at Delta Team Decals last night. First thing this morning he had this ready and I have ordered a set. I'll post pictures of them when they arrive. He is calling them the M135 Dash Marking if any of you want to order a set.

    1952 M135 W/Winch

We are finally seeing some things come together. I dropped the ball on getting The Low/High Range decal for around the speedometer, but will get back on that. The rear window got a new gasket cut and is installed. The upper drip edge will be installed later. The fall camo is ready on my...

    Still painting parts.

This is what the rubber strap replaced.

It will probably be a road queen unless I have to get it dirty. I'm ready to get this done and enjoy some "boring" regular preventative maintenance and driving. Don't worry though, I still have one more truck to do and two parts trucks to start pulling apart.

It is just rubber strap I ordered off Amazon that is the same width and thickness as the old deteriorated cotton stuff that was on it. I used weatherstrip adhesive to fasten it in place before I installed the tank. Hopefully the adhesive is strong enough.

We installed the fuel tank last night. There is still some touch up to do on the connections and the fuel pump shield needs installed after that.

Thank you for checking Merle. I'm sorry to hear things have been so rough. I'm glad Jodi is doing better. I'll call you soon so we can catch up. Thank you Dave. I will send this info to Decal Dave and see if he can get this duplicated. I'm very close to needing the decal or stencil. On the...

    1952 M135 W/Winch

Update continued.... Most hardtop pieces have been primed and some glass has been replaced. The fuel tank supports are ready for paint and rubber strap has been ordered for the tank cushion. Also installed a NOS fuel gauge sending unit I had squirreled away. A lot of time has been spent...

I was talking to Plowboy the other day and he reminded me that I should give an update and post some pictures....so here it is. There is a lot of work being done, most of it on cab related parts and my gosh are there a lot of those. The data plates are done and ready for install. Templates...

    1952 M135 W/Winch

I'm at the point where I need stencils or decals for my gauges. Dave at Delta Team Decals might be able to make them. Does anyone of you have a gauge panel that has all of these markings still on it? None of my trucks have markings left for me to be able to measure. Here is what the email from...
