    I'm using Gulfway Insurers after getting a recommendation from a SS member. http://www.racensur.com/ . It is a commercial policy (even though I don't use the truck commercially) with full coverage and still VERY reasonable . My State Farm and Farmers agents would not cover it.

    Ron, are you going back this week with Richard? I should be on his list for load-out. I asked for a similar trailer ( step deck with ramps) but the logistics companies tell you they are hard to come by so you kinda get what you get. Unloading will be a b--- without ramps. :?

    Files are 20M to 75M and up to 2100 pages in PDF! A lot of reading for your late nights. Good stuff though. Takes you through almost every maintenance activity you would want to tackle on the MK.

    Since the files are too large to email I just paid $5 and downloaded them. What I did was go to this site TM 08780B-10 You can also get the -20, -24, -34 maint guides for the same $5. Very much worth the few bucks!!:)

    One more thing... After installing the yaw lock out rod, should probably disable the yaw steering cylinders by moving the lever near the hydraulic reservoir ( right side of rig) to "Aux Hydraulics".

    Good point on the yaw steering being an issue on a flatbed. In the operators manual for the MK48, it says the yaw steering lock-out rod should be used when transporting this way. The rod should be stored up under the front grill and can be removed and put into position on the yaw pivot. I am...
