    And spellling is to be my next rant... as in efficient, gauge, Marauder, brake vs break, definite, and AMG is American Motors General.. not American General and today is going to be excellent, not excellant... I am saving two M139s this week from the crusher...anybody need any parts...

    No, I went to school and graduated in 1964.. actually high school in 1960... long before we had all the lazy aids.

    P equals IV... Power equals amps times volts... power is in watts... watts equals amps times volts... 768 watts, more or less is one horsepower... W equals 100 times 28... or 2800.. divide by 768 and you get about 3 and a half horsepower...to run a 100 amp alternator at full efficiency...
