I went through the same issues that you are experiencing. Long story short, the new fuel pump (from NAPA) was defective out of the box. Installed a different pump and it started right up. Karl- antennaclimber

Recently bought another M1009 from an individual. Having no service records or other info on the truck, I decided to change glow plugs, fuel filter, oil and and clean up a few dirty electrical contacts that these vehicles are prone to have. I changed 7 of the glow plugs (one is swollen)...- antennaclimber

This weekend I managed to get the following done; Took care of 10 pesky riv-nuts. Welded them to the truck. Added new HF radio and antenna. Removed old floor mat, installed new one front and rear. Painted drivers and passenger seat base and seat. Removed dash, painted and reinstalled...- antennaclimber
