    I realize this post is useless without pics and as soon as I can can get some 10 year old in my neighborhood to teach this old dog how to post pics on this site, I will. IN THE MEANTIME, the trailer I used was an M101a3/M116a2 or a3 -can't remember which, but it is a standard M101 [ 8' x5'6"]...

    My bobbed deuce w/o winch, with 14x20's, 1/2 tank fuel, no driver, a tool box from a 5 ton mounted where spare tire used to be, with M101a3 trailer bed w/ fiberglass sideboards and metal bows---9,960#--- so an under 10,000# is easily doable-- LOTS of weight difference comes from type of bed used.
