OK great because this is the only cable i havnt done yet but in my mind it seemed rite and like i said before im putting a heavy on/off switch in line on that short jumper to just have the option ! I think this layout will be a better all round than 4 good truck 6tl (i think) lol
Thank you this all makes sence to me now ! about time! now im going to draw a picture of the batteries just like my other drawings but today i drew this picture and this fella tells me if i tie that 3rd 6tl in the way ive drawn the picture thats going to make 36volts
Now im already using a controller from solar to house batteries so go in behind my other controller and ad this dc/dc thing or just run a piece of #10 from my controller to the 3rd 6tl instead of the 2/0 i have down there now ! or your saying tap in the line coming from panels before it gets to...
Well here comes numnutts with more questions!!! I looked at the stuff you sent from amazon and am i supposed to put one of these circut board looking thing s between the house batteries and the 3rd 6tl and on the hot cable inline or where? and can i use my idea of putting the on/off...
What if i keep the 3rd 6tl tied to winch and put a on/off switch between the truck 12v and house 12v so it would only get charged when i wanted it too by simply turning one of the switches for a while and probably letting the solar charge it and it being on the end of the charging line from...
OK thanks to Ronmar and TFT I switched over to a 2 6tl truck set up and now i need an electric wizzard to tell me why since i have a 3 good 6tl already sitting there i bring my 12v hot and ground from house to the 3rd battery and i bring the hot and ground from the 12 winch all to the 3rd batt...
Thanks this explains it better for me ! I m with you i should just add another 8d to the house and the solar just keep them up and try the 2 good agm 6tl in the truck to see how that acts . Good Info !
Great info butt some where it seem i read something about not mixing batteries together with amp hr differences. When we would have a 8d agm go down on the road in the house batteries they would replace both agms at the same time even though just 1 battery went down so they were a matched set is...
I guess what im really saying im spoiled to all the agm power back up to the house if i ran all 6 agms down to nothing over night my diesel generator is on its own battery to start it then it charges all the batteries back up to full if theres no sunlite to feed solar or atleast enough to...
In my mind the 2 back batts are my 24v stuff the 2 not so good are in the 12v positions im feeding the 2 12v 8d agm with 1000 watts of solar every day to my house agms in the camper then on to my 2 12v truck batteries and im feeding the 12v winch off of the 2 12v truck batteries so i...
while were on the subject ive had all 4 of my 6tl hawkers out of the truck individualy charging them and at rest 3 of them are 12.98 on the meter and 1 is 10.78 at rest so i put them back in truck today the 24 spins it over no start i meter the 12v batt side reads 10.81 and 13,8 on 24 side so i...
