in a way you paid out your arse for all these parts already.... aka your wealth of tools and knowledge is what you paid already...... kudo's. Definitely would become an overtly cost to buy them now..... cause it would be like paying twice in your case if you did.
the secret to a more quiet diesel is use a water cooled engine. Look into a used water cooled diesel Big Rig APU (aux. power unit) and swap the alternator for a 24v one. Use a 12v step down to 12v, to run any 12v things on APU (sensors?). Advantage is you can set it up also to use that 24v...
Lot of watts in them thar panels. Right now I got 1000. Thought is to add another good number on the roof over the Jeep will be towning. That way can place jeep in sun if needed.. and or can have power panels with me if I venture further with jeep alone.
all my products are second hand...
LOL...... know what you mean...... my dad was a PT..... he at times hated that I was tearing my body up as a male gymnast... he held it in though .. untill I finally ask for help. his eyes told the story when he felt I was doing damage though.

IMHO on top of driving it....Dont care if...
Grom looks like a real good shuttle bike choice. My..... (oops.- gotta get back to civilization after putting truck on its side oorr some other stupid whoops) shuttle bike is also planned for high mileage... but its bit bigger KLR and achieves high MPG by being powered via a 10HP diesel.... you...
Thanks Keith. Guess manufactures have been listening... I see now couple models on Amazon that have manual cranks you can pop on if need be in addition to the one you mention above. sweet.
the "possible" advantage to the powered crank style Keith used is..... ability to slip manual crank back on post if electric fails.... but Im not positive and have PMed Keith about that
Looks like that might could store little out of the way (least when it comes to ground clearance) by pulling it out, flipping it over and reinstalling. How do you store it on the rig, or is it a shelf item at home?
The spongy suspension of both the yeep and the LMTV may cause erratic driving oscillations that can end up disastrous. Might want to consider this potential and pull and bind down the Yeeps springs heavily when you lash it on the bed for transport. Thats a pretty high center of gravity as well.
How does the other cab shock housing look? Only mention cause if it has some tweak too; then consider with both being tweaked as a possible symptom of side to side motion of the cab your not suppose to be getting.
