    I was very happy to see the new rad was alum. All the cooler lines came apart like new. I also anti seized all the line fittings. I took Dude for a ride today to make sure all was good. Job complete.

    My 1028A1 had a radiator fail last week. I installed a new Rad. inc all new hoses. Considering all the cooler lines it was a very easy job. The old one was copper brass. That sucker was heavy. The new one is alum.with plastic tanks. Much easier to deal with. Job all done and back on the road.

    Drill a 1/8th hole in the end of the blower motor where the bearing is and oil it. The motor will last much longer. Works very well even if it's just temp.to get you through a storm without having to stop and change it.

    It's on top of the rt frame rail just in front of the main crossmember where the ft spring mount is. I can't say they are all stamped there but I'd bet GM did stamp all trucks in the same place. Mine matchs all the other tags. If I rememeber I'll take a pic in the morning.

    Very nice detail work. I wanted to do a frame off on the 1028 I bought but shes is a little to far gone for that. I'v been building points cars for many years and know what it takes to do that kind of work. Only bad thing is when your done it will be to nice to drive. BG
