I think the open lines in the stencils should be clean and without overspray and it appears that the adhesive did the job, including handling "bumpy" areas.
As you can see, there is a lot of residue, hopefully alcohol will wash it off.
Stenciled some markings on the 757 this morning. Used the adhesive above and the instructions were the same as suggested by Gary.
Sequence of events in images below. The glue does leave a residue, but I'm sure it can be washed off after the paint is dry.
I agree with Leonard.
I usually put a glove on and just press down on the stencil as I go. :-)
Like the idea of a glue, though, especially for a curved surface.
