    Of course, I'm talking about driving the deuce and the Appalachian Mountains are kind of a psychological barrier. Drove once through WV in the deuce and it's often slow going.     The driving time to and from are important. Regional events are the way to go. 400 miles each way is just too much for a camp-out. I-77 through West Virginia is also slow going. I'm looking at the Uwharrie in North Carolina right now, it's only 2-3 hours away.
