    It would be good to locate the wiring diagram in the TM as it shows the alternator connections; it is in TM 9-2320-280-20-3 on page 1159 of the pdf. You should find the alternator wires in the vicinity of the left valve cover. They were previously used on the voltage regulator of the Niehoff...
