I love the engine pictures.....they have to be mutilated but they still covered some of them with plastic for rain protection.....:roll:

I would be suprised if this does occur that they would let it get out to much ahead of time (i.e end of truck supply), or if they even let it filter down to the GL employees below manager level.

I just talked to a site rep from GL and he said they haven't heard anything about this yet. He did also say that here in the next month or so his site should be going through 100+ Deuces and trailers on auction.

Nothing other than what the website that Freighttrain is talking about. If you go to that site and put in the NSN of a 1009 or 1008 or M35A2 you will see that they now all have to the codes to be scrapped in the US.

Well there goes my chances of getting a Deuce as I'm going to assume that auction prices on them will go a lot higher now.:evil:

Didn't we go through this back in December already when all of a sudden GL pulled all the trailers and trucks off their auctions and then they reappeared several days later after a full review of the classification of the items? If all of the vehicles were going to be mutilated and reclaimed...

I was talking to a motor Sgt. the other day and he informed me that at a couple of sites that he knew of the units were told that they were no longer allowed to purchase parts for M35A2s and that GL was going to be getting rid of all of them by the end of this year. He knew of atleast 700...
