    Your absalutely correct there.. as the mirror arms on the original mount left the driver with very poor vision. So, I made my own, and mounted them with an (absalute) neccessity for safety first.     We use a mix of Moly Grease and S.T.P. works great, stopped our leak, and the steering is better.

    We have heavy duty connectors which go to a power distribution unit, which powers a mobile cooker and heating unit for boiling water.. And there was a small fold down bench to hold the cooking unit in place. (we removed all this.) I have seen these units in armoured cars Tanks and recovery...

    We had a machine gun mount there on ours, but I removed it as it obsructed the door opening wide enough. Ours did not look quite like the one you have though as I remember.

    You may well find the steering eases up a whole lot after filling it. We fill ours with S.T.P. lasts well and does help the box. they are generally hard to steer in any event. (and) the rear steering box is easily accessable in the rear trailer.

    One of the most fun jobs is topping up the front steering box. (they tend to leak) if you are 3foot 4 inches and very slim, it's no problem at all! also it it quite easy if you stand on your head and contort yourself (and the filler nozzle) under the (drivers side) dash. I overcome the problem...
